Yoga Teacher

I started Yoga teacher training in October of last year, 2019.  It had been something on my list of things I wanted to do for awhile and when the opportunity arose of course I jumped on it. It's been a process and it's not over yet. I should be graduated my next month, April. I have already taught a few classes around town and am looking for more opportunities to teach. I believe that yoga is a process. It's a journey. It's not the destination. And you have to make the time and take the time. It is a way of life as well. Don't expect to go to a yoga class and walk out and continue life as usual. I mean you can if you want to, but for me it is more than that. You need to look around you and be mindful of your surroundings, be mindful of what is happening around you. Be present. Don't let your mind wander. Bring it back to the present moment. Be in the moment, this moment, the here and now.
And best of all:
Don't forget to breathe!

  1. Your yoga mat is like your own portable yoga studio. You can take it anywhere and make space for your practice, whether it’s your living room, a park, the beach, depressed poses
